Usage Limits & Overages
Understanding hard thresholds, soft warning limits, and addon costs.
To ensure system stability and fair resource allocation, subscription plans have usage boundaries. This page details how limits are measured and what happens when they are exceeded.
1. Plan Usage Boundaries
Usage boundaries are tracked across the following areas:
- WhatsApp Numbers (Channels): The maximum number of distinct phone numbers you can connect to your dashboard.
- Team Seats: The maximum number of employee accounts you can invite to collaborate on your inbox.
- AI Conversations: Under the Bundled AI model, the maximum number of 24-hour customer threads resolved by the AI.
- Broadcast Limit: The maximum number of template marketing messages you can send per month.
2. Add-on Purchases (No Upgrade Needed)
If you need extra capacity but don't want to upgrade to a higher subscription tier, you can purchase individual monthly add-ons directly from Settings → Billing:
- Extra WhatsApp Business number: +₦7,500/month
- 1,000 extra broadcast messages: +₦3,000 (one-time purchase)
[!NOTE] The previous "Extra Connector" add-on pricing has been deprecated. All plans now scale connector limits natively without requiring separate app connector purchases.
3. What Happens If You Exceed Limits?
We believe in supporting your growth, not penalizing it:
- Soft Warning Alert: When your workspace reaches 80% of any plan limit, we send an in-app alert and email notification.
- No Auto-Shutdowns: If you exceed a limit mid-month, we do not shut off your service. Your customer chats will continue to flow.
- Billing Contact: Our team will reach out to discuss options (e.g. buying a message add-on or upgrading) before your next billing cycle.
