Business Actions (Payments & Bookings)
Trigger in-chat bookings, orders, and payment links automatically.
Business Actions allow your AI chatbot to perform operations beyond simple messaging. By connecting your favorite tools (e.g., Paystack, Calendly, Google Sheets), the AI can complete full transactions directly inside the WhatsApp conversation thread.
1. Paystack Integration (Smart Billing)
You can link your Paystack account to let the AI collect payments:
- Go to Settings → Integrations and select Paystack.
- Paste your Paystack API Keys.
- When a customer expresses a desire to buy a product, the AI calculates the total, requests a Paystack invoice link via the API, and sends it to the customer on WhatsApp.
- Once the payment is completed, Paystack triggers a webhook. AutomateIt confirms the payment in the chat and alerts your fulfillment team.
2. Dynamic Calendar Bookings
Enable the AI to schedule appointments and meetings:
- Connect your Calendly or Google Calendar account in the Integrations tab.
- Instruct your AI (e.g., "If a customer wants to book a call, fetch my available slots").
- The AI queries your live schedule, presents open slots to the customer as button selections (e.g., "10:00 AM" or "2:00 PM"), and logs the confirmed booking on your calendar.
3. Order Management & CRM Sync
The AI can log purchase details:
- Order Capture: The AI gathers shipping addresses, email addresses, and product choices from the chat, summarizes them for the customer, and creates an order record.
- Google Sheets Sync: Automatically post every new order, booking, or lead captured by the AI to a centralized spreadsheet for easy team tracking.
