White-Label Configuration
Rebrand the dashboard portal as your own proprietary product.
The Agency plan includes white-label features, allowing you to hide the AutomateIt brand and present the dashboard to your clients under your own domain name and custom styling.
1. Setting Up a Custom Domain
To host the dashboard portal on your own domain (e.g., chat.youragency.com instead of dashboard.automateit.com):
- Log in to your domain registrar settings (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Whogohost).
- Navigate to your DNS Management page.
- Add a new CNAME Record:
- Host/Name:
chat(or your preferred subdomain) - Value/Destination:
domains.automateit.com - TTL: Automatic or 3600
- Host/Name:
- Once the CNAME is added, go to the Agency Panel → White-Label Settings in your AutomateIt dashboard.
- Enter your custom domain URL and click Verify and Save. Our servers will automatically provision an SSL certificate (HTTPS) for your domain within 24 hours.
2. Branding Customizations
Upload your brand assets to replace our interface branding:
- Logo Upload: Upload your agency's logo (PNG or SVG format, transparent background recommended) to replace the AutomateIt header branding.
- Favicon Upload: Upload a 16x16 or 32x32 pixel icon for the browser tab.
- Primary Theme Color: Enter your primary hex code (e.g.,
#0F172A). The portal dashboard links, buttons, and loading states will automatically adopt your agency's brand colors.
3. Custom SMTP (Email Verification)
To ensure that your clients receive email invites and password resets from your own email address (e.g., support@youragency.com):
- Navigate to White-Label Settings → Email Configurations (SMTP).
- Input your custom SMTP host, port, username, and password (e.g., from Google Workspace, SendGrid, or Mailgun).
- Send a test email to confirm connection.
- All subsequent system emails sent to your clients will use your branded template and outgoing server.
